While in Sydney shooting our upcoming collection, our New Zealand team found a few moments to explore the city. While there, they took in Sydney’s architecture and rich textures, while also enjoying the vibrant art and dining scene the city is known for.
STAY
- Ace Hotel: The boutique hotel was built on the site of a historic brick factory, one of Australia’s first ceramic kilns dating back to 1916. A standout feature is the lobby’s ochre-red marble staircase by Flack Studio, which draws inspiration from the rich colours of the Australian desert.

EAT & DRINK
- Paramount House Coffee Project: Our team highly recommends their matcha lattes, which they enjoyed every morning of their trip.
- Pellegrino 2000: Inspired by Italian garage-style trattorias, the buzzy restaurant is decorated with framed vintage photographs, packets of pasta, bottles of olive oil and fresh tomatoes—and the pastas are simply delicious.

- Bistro 916
- Caravin: This intimate, 24-seat Art Deco wine bar offered a French menu with a twist. A standout dish was the pomme de terre with anchovy and crème fraîche.
- Caterpillar Club: A late-night cocktail lounge and live music venue tucked beneath Pitt Street, where we enjoyed post-dinner negronis and a soulful live jazz performance.
