At Marle, nature is at the heart of what we do and as such, building a wardrobe that can be worn for seasons to come is something we consider when designing every collection.
When choosing pieces for your wardrobe, it’s important to not only consider what those items are, but how they are made and the fabrics in which they are made of. Every Marle design is crafted exclusively from natural fibres – which not only feel beautiful against the skin, with an incredible hand feel and texture – they are vital to us in ensuring we leave a lighter foot print on our beautiful planet. It’s important to us to know that after a long life, our pieces won’t take hundreds of years to break down.
Every item you add to your wardrobe should seamlessly pair back with existing pieces and be bought with the intention to be worn season upon season. We’ve put together our five key pieces from our new Autumn 20 collection, Into My Arms.
Dawn Top
Our Dawn Top is beautifully crafted from 100% Oeko-Tex Certified silk and is a piece that you’ll find can be dressed up or down with ease. We’ll be wearing ours with bias cut silk skirts and shorts and also layered under lofty wool jackets or over a Louis tee once the weather cools down.
Chloe Skirt
The Chloe skirt is a signature Marle silhouette, this season updated in a textured cotton / linen. It features a raw hem and is cut on the bias to perfectly skim over your body. Dress up with a silk camisole in summer or layer with an oversized jumper during the cooler months.
Jill Top
Inspired by our adored Scott Top, the Jill Top features the same gathered neckline and high standing collar with a long raglan sleeve that gathers at the wrist. Crafted in 100% linen, a natural fibre that provides temperature regulating properties, making it the perfect wardrobe addition all year round.
Asta Dress
Our Asta Dress is a special piece crafted in Oeko-Tex certified silk. It features a round neckline, long sleeves and a soft cowl neck at the back. It is cut on the bias to skim across the body for an elegant silhouette.
Albie Cardigan
Our fitted Albie Cardi is finely knitted in a luxuriously soft, custom rib. It is knitted in recycled cotton / merino yarn and makes for the perfect trans-seasonal addition to your wardrobe. Ideal for those crisp Autumn days, we adore the Albie with silk skirts and our beloved Sara Pant.
